WILD TURKEY was formed in 1996 from the ashes of what was known as POISON APPLES and formerly THE ROCK DOGS. Named after the world famous premium bourbon, WILD TURKEY stands for pure rock with a blend of real kick-ass rock’n’roll. After a change in the line-up in 2004, the band is back with a new drummer and an even more energetic sound. The current program contains WILD TURKEY originals such as straight rocker “Broken old Highway”, powerful ballads like “All over” and covers of the BACKYARD BABIES, GEORGIA SATELLITES, and CIRCUS OF POWER. Recently, WILD TURKEY have played shows with international acts like L.A. GUNS, TYLA of THE DOGS D’AMOUR, and SPIKE of THE QUIREBOYS, and the boys are hungry for more.

1996: Ralf, Chris and Reto join forces with Andy (ex "Scrambled X")

1997: Release of the first WILD TURKEY CD „Call of the Wild”

1998: Call of the Wild Tour in Switzerland (see Tour Archive)

1999: Release of first live bootleg “Blood, Sweat & Beers”

2000: More gigs in Switzerland and Germany (see Tour Archive)

2002: A few gigs with "The Lazy Bones" and "The Gutter Queens"

2003: Release of the 2nd CD “Misery loves Co.” with the help of RAMS of "The Bucks"

2004: Al-Maria returns and pushes the Turks to a new level of power

2005: Runner-up at Rock City’s international band contest; Gig with "L.A. Guns"

2006: Supporting act with "Spike & Tyla" in March plus with "The Dogs d'Amour" in May

2009: New CD out !! Recorded in Las Vegas in August and released in December
